Storm Agnes to hit Ireland on Wednesday

The first named storm of the winter will hit Ireland on Wednesday – and it’s called Agnes.

Weather models are predicting strong winds and heavy rain in parts, with the storm quite changeable.

Met Eireann has issued warnings for Leinster and Munster, and the UK’s Met Office put out an alert for the north.
