A driver in Burnfoot was clocked travelling over double the speed limit over the weekend.
Gardaí from Buncrana Roads Policing Unit detected a vehicle being driven at 166KPH in an 80KPH speed zone.
The motorist was arrested and charged to appear in court.
Sharing the post on social media, Gardaí again urged all road users to slow down because speed kills.
