Electric car sales up 34% in Donegal this year

There were 118,369 new cars registered across the country in the year up to the end of September, a 16.5% increase on last year.

Of those, 21,707 were electric vehicles, a year on year rise of almost 50%.

Donegal saw 2,509 new cars registered so far this year, up 2% on last year. 294 of those were electric cars, an increase of 34%.
