The GAA is to conduct an independent review into last week’s referee row ahead of the Down club football final.
Kilcoo took an objection to Paul Faloon’s appointment as far as the Disputes Resolution Authority, based on perceived bias.
The Down County Board criticised Kilcoo’s objection, and a request from secretary Sean Og McAteer for the GAA to investigate has been accepted.
