A rare monkey has been born at Wild Ireland in Donegal.
The Barbary Macaque was born in recent weeks to Barbary Macaques residing in the wildlife sanctuary.
The breed are part of the only species of monkey native to Europe.
Wild Ireland says the birth is an event of international importance in the fight against extinction.
