A plan to offer State accommodation on a short term basis to new arrivals from war torn Ukraine is unworkable, according to a group working with refugees.
Proposals to be discussed by government today would mean that after three months in Ireland Ukrainians would have to find either a rental property or take up the offer of a home pledged by members of the public.
But migrants rights group Doras says better planning and more money is needed.
