Planning permission has been granted for a new €650,000 sports facility at the Creevy Activity Hub, outside Ballyshannon.
The Hub members were joined last Friday by a number of politicians to see their proposed plans and hear their ambitions for the project.
The Creevy Hub is seeking government funding to progress the project which would include a 65X40m astropitch with fencing and floodlighting.
