‘Lock Up and Light Up’ – Gardai warn

Gardai in Donegal are urging homeowners to Lock Up and Light Up to protect their home.

They say burglaries increase during winter months, mostly between the hours of 5pm and 10pm.

People are advised to lock all doors and windows, turn on lights, use an alarm, not keep large amounts of cash at home and to store keys away from windows and letterboxes.
