The Kerrykeel and Kilcar sewerage schemes have been completed, with works valued at €10 million.
The developments have seen the elimination of raw sewage from Mulroy Bay and Tawny Bay, striving to improve water quality for swimming, surfing, fishing and boating.
Uisce Eireann say the efforts are a part of the organisation’s priority to protect the coast of Donegal.
