2023 has been the worst year on record for overcrowding in Irish Hospitals.
121,526 people were without a bed at hospitals across the country to date this year.
The number of children waiting on a bed has increased 24% to over 3,450.
5,364 admitted patients at Letterkenny University have waited on a bed so far this year, down 23% when compared to the same period last year.
