Derry City and Strabane District Council has been made aware that there are some problems with phone and broadband services in the Gortin area of Tyrone.
Those with friends or family who may be affected are encouraged to report the fault to their provider or assist them to do so.
The Council would also encourage anyone with family and friends of people living in the area to check in with them over the holiday period.
