There were 20 admitted patients without beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, the second highest figure in the country after Limerick.
Of the 20, 12 were on Emergency Department trolleys, while the remainder were in inappropriate settings on wards.
Nationally, the overall figure reported by the INMO today was 161, with 116 of those on ED trollies.
