289 homes and businesses are without power in the vicinity of Ardara this morning, with ESB networks predicting all should have supplies restored by 10.15 this morning.
A status orange alert for counties in the south, southeast and west is now over, however a status yellow alert for wind and rain remains in place for other parts.
Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare and Kerry will see strong winds until 6 o’clock tomorrow morning.
