Thousands are without power this morning after Storm Gerrit caused strong winds overnight.
A status orange alert for counties in the south, southeast and west is now over, however a status yellow alert for wind and rain remains in place for other parts.
Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare and Kerry will see strong winds until 6 o’clock tomorrow morning. As of now, the ESB is not reporting any network faults in Donegal.
