Emergency services are at the scene of a serious road traffic incident on the outskirts of Letterkenny.
The incident occurred at Ellistrin on the N56 near the Go Filling station.
The road is closed, and will remain closed overnight, diversions are in place.
Gardaí are asking motorists to avoid the area where possible.
