Property prices are on the rise once again, with 2023 seeing an annual jump of over 4% nationwide.
The latest MyHome.ie report shows the average cost of a home in Donegal is up 13.5% year on year to €210,000.
The cost of a 3 bed semi detached property in the county has increased 20.7% with the median asking price in the last quarter of 2023, €172,000.
However, there has been a noted drop in the asking price of a two bed apartment in Donegal to €107,500 – down 2.2%.
The price of a 4 bed semi detached house is down 0.76% to €195,000.
In December, houses nationally sold for an average of 4% over their asking price.
