Officers from the PSNI’s International Policing Unit have extradited a 67 year-old man from America where he had been arrested on an international warrant for 12 assault offences that occurred in the 1970’s.
The man will appear before Derry Magistrates Court later today.
Sergeant Davey from the International Policing Unit says they continue to work with their international partners to bring offenders before the court for crimes committed in Northern Ireland.
