There are 1521 Ukrainian guests living with 602 hosts in County Donegal.
This accounts for 20% of Ukrainian refugees in the county, which currently stands at over 7,500.
New research shows that 92% of people hosting Ukrainians have had a positive experience and 76% would recommend hosting.
It’s believed that hosts have saved the taxpayer €386 million per year, compared to the cost of state provided accommodation.
