Donegal is one of 20 regions across Europe involved in a project to extend the lifetime of electrical and electronic equipment.
The E6 programme aims to increase the capacities of regions to reuse, repair and refurbishment electric goods.
€1 million in funding has been set aside to rollout the project across the North West and West. A pilot hub-site has already been developed in Galway.
