Filling Stations in border counties will suffer because of fuel excise duty hikes – Doherty

The Dail has been told that filling stations in border counties will be under severe pressure as a result of further increases in excise duty on fuel in August and October.

Moving a Sinn Fein motion calling for the increases to be scrapped, Deputy Pearse Doherty told the Dail the disparity in prices North and South will grow wider, and local businesses will suffer………..
