In the 2023 Census 4,276 British nationals were recorded to be living in Donegal, all of whom are eligible to cast a ballot in the upcoming local elections.
The British embassy are urging those living here to ensure they are properly registered to vote before the closing of the deadline on Monday, May 20th.
While British nationals can vote in the local elections, they are unable to vote in the Europeans which takes place on the same day.
