A thunderstorm warning in place in Donegal has been upgraded to status orange.
It takes effect at 3 o’clock and will cease at 9 o’clock tonight.
The public are told of slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy downpours and potentially large hail.
Possible impacts include flash flooding, very difficult travelling conditions with poor visibility and potential damage to power lines.
