Commemoration Ceremonies across the country remember those who died in service

Ceremonies across the country have remembered the Irish men and women who’ve died in past wars or on UN service.

88 people have died while on overseas deployment since the 1960’s, and today their relatives and former colleagues gathered together to remember all who died in service.

The main commemoration was an interfaith ceremony at Dublin’s Royal Hospital Kilmainham, led by the President and Taoiseach.
