Midlands North West MEP Maria Walsh is to become a member of the EU’s Agriculture Committee.
Ms Walsh is being nominated by the EPP, the political grouping to which Fine Gael is affiliated. She will also serve as a substitute member of the Regional Development and Justice & Home Affairs committee.
Ms Walsh told Highland Radio News it’s an important time for the committee, and work in the area of agriculture is already underway……………
