Drivers urged to stay alert as roadside hedge cutting season gets underway

Roadside hedge cutting season is to begin this Sunday, the 1st of September.

Gardaí are reminding motorists to remain mindful of this while traveling, especially when using country roads as there will be an increase of large machinery in operation.

Drivers are being urged to drive with care and to remain alert at all times.
