Councillor encourages public to report unused properties

West Donegal councillor, Cllr Michael McClafferty, is calling for a closer examination of empty houses in Donegal that could potentially be acquired by the council for social housing.

He suggests that this includes not only abandoned houses but also council houses that are not being used as intended.

Cllr McClafferty is encouraging the public to report any such empty homes, assuring them that their information will be kept confidential.

He explains that housing managers will then investigate each report thoroughly.
