Ireland not experiencing “economic bubble” ahead of Budget 2025

A leading economist is adamant that Ireland is not experiencing an economic bubble.

It comes ahead of next week’s budget, which is expected to be a giveaway, with a government surplus of 25 billion euro.

This contrasts sharply with the UK and other EU countries where belt tightening measures are being implemented.

Chief Economist of the Institute of International and European Affairs, Dan O’Brien, says we’re in a very unique position.
