Almost 300 people will become employed in the Department of Communities in County Derry.
The announcement of 1000 jobs in the department across Northern Ireland was made in the NI Assemble yesterday.
270 will be based in Derry while 27 are assigned to Ballykelly.
The remainder are split between Belfast and Ballymena.
