Killybegs Coast Guard was deployed in the early hours of this morning to assist an injured crew member of a Spanish fishing vessel anchored at Killybegs Harbour.
The rescue service was tasked at around 4am along with the National Ambulance Service and An Garda Síochána to remove the crew member with a suspected broken hip.
The casualty was handed over by the Coast Guard to ambulance personnel.
