McKenna says Gaelic Football was unenjoyable to play

Conor McKenna won an All Ireland with Tyrone in 2022.

Conor McKenna admits he became bored by Gaelic Football ahead of his return to the AFL.

The 2021 All-Ireland winner with Tyrone became a Premiership champion with the Brisbane Lions earlier this month, matching the achievements of Kerry legend Tadhg Kennelly.

It’s McKenna’s second stint in Australia, having previously spent five years at Essendon.

And he says Gaelic Football was unenjoyable to play in his last season with Tyrone.
