Ballyshannon Gardaí made an arrest yesterday morning for suspected drug-driving.
During a routine Mandatory Intoxicant Testing checkpoint, they stopped a driver who tested positive for cannabis.
The motorist was subsequently arrested, and a blood sample was taken for analysis.
Taking to social media, the Gardaí urged drivers to avoid the risk of endangering lives by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
