Claudia Kennedy says her tack record on the ground played a major part in being added to the Fianna Fail party ticket to contest the upcoming general election in Donegal.
In a surprise move, the party confirmed last week that Ms Kennedy had been selected to contest the election alongside Minister Charlie McConalogue and Pat the Cope Gallagher.
She contested this year’s local election in the Donegal local electoral area.
