Voter turnout continues to rise in Donegal

Indications show there has been a big turnout at the polling stations today.

It’s reported that turnout is as high as 47% in some areas.

It was a slow and steady to start to the day, but a lunchtime surge saw a considerable increase in the figures.

Over 131,000 people are eligible to vote in Donegal.

And polls will remain open until 10pm tonight.
