First counts are expected to be declared in the next hour as counting continues across the country.
Most constituencies have final tallies in.
Of the 174 TDs to be elected based on the tally data, 136 of the seats look secured.
The figures show the transfer battles for final seats will be decisive.
Currently Fianna Fail are on course to secure 36 seats, Sinn Féin 35, Fine Gael 34, Independent candidates/ others look set to win 12 seats, Labour 6, Social Democrats 6, Independent Ireland 4, People Before Profit 2, Aontú 1 and the Green Party looks like it could miss out on a Dail seat.
That being said, there are still 38 seats across the country in play and yet to be decided.
