Concerns have been raised over a low vaccine uptake in the North West and West as flu cases and hospital admissions are on the rise.
The HSE is urging eligible people to get vaccinated for COVID-19 and flu ahead of the festive season.
The viruses are expected to surge in the coming weeks.
