Twin Towns Boxing Club have a new National Champion as Caoimhin Connolly defeated Kurt Kinsella to claim the National U18 48kg title this afternoon.
The bout, which took place at the National Stadium in Dublin, ended in a 4-1 split decision win for the young Donegal man, who beat Portlaoise’s Rico McInerney via a unanimous decision in the semi final yesterday.
