Several schools closed in NI as a result of storm damage

Tens of thousands of homes and businesses across Northern Ireland are entering a fourth day without electricity after Storm Éowyn.

NIE Networks says, as of last night, 74-thousand customers were still without power.

Specialist engineers were sent from England over the weekend to help with ongoing efforts to get people re-connected.

The North’s Education Minister Paul Givan says some schools will remain closed today because of storm damage……………
