Midlands Northwest MEP Maria Walsh has been appointed the European Parliament’s rapporteur for UK agricultural matters.
She will lead policy discussions on EU-UK relations, engaging with stakeholders, scrutinising trade rules, and shaping responses to challenges faced by Irish farmers and exporters.
A key focus will be ensuring the upcoming Trade and Cooperation Agreement review does not harm the agriculture sector here.
