A total of 701 new residential address points were added to the GeoDirectory database in Donegal last year.
The latest Geo Directory – a joint venture between An Post and the Ordnance Survey – also shows over 22 thousand residential buildings were classified as being under construction in 2024, 722 of those were in Donegal.
The rate of vacant properties is at an all time low, with the national average of 3.8%.
However, Donegal is well above that at 9%, ranking the 4th highest in Ireland.
