Mark English set a new Irish record at the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold meeting in Bydgoszcz, Poland yesterday.
The Finn Valley AC athlete won the 800m event in a time of 1:44.34.
It’s been a fantastic start to the outdoor season for English as he also won the 800m event at Track Fest in Los Angeles last weekend.
