Everton have offered Seamus Coleman a new contract.
The Ireland and Toffees made just seven appearances last season because of injury.
As a result, the 36-year-old missed out on Ireland’s friendlies this month.
Everton boss David Moyes had made it clear he was keen for Coleman to remain in the playing squad.
The Killybegs native has also been tipped for coaching role with the club.
