The Donegal Donkey Sanctuary has issued an urgent appeal to local farmers and landowners.
With over 100 donkeys currently in their care, the centre says it’s at full capacity and may soon have to turn away new intakes.
Manager Danny Curran says rehoming has become increasingly difficult.
He is urging anyone who has land and is interested in working in partnership to house donkeys to get in touch:
