Twenty-seven sheep have been stolen from a field in Newtown, Ramelton between Tuesday, the 15th of July, and Sunday last.
Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in that area between those dates to come forward as they pursue an investigation.
They are especially appealing to those within local farming circles who believe they may have relevant information to come forward.
