Gardai in Donegal are urging road users to be mindful as hedge cutting season commences.
As of today, farmers and landowners are permitted to resume hedge cutting.
Motorists are urged to drive with care and remain alert when travelling particularly on country roads as they say there is likely to be a visible increase in large machinery in operation along roadsides over the coming weeks.
