Super weekend for Irwin in Donnington as Kilmacrennan man re-takes championship lead

Rhys Irwin won both races at Donnington to re-take the lead in the British Supersport Championship this weekend.

Irwin now leads by 3 points ahead of Ben Currie at the top of the standings with races at Assen, Oulton Park and Brands Hatch to come in the next few weeks to decide the 2025 champion.

It seems to be a two-horse race between Irwin and Currie, as Jack Kennedy trails by 43 points at the top of the Supersport leaderboard.
