Gardaí in Donegal are appealing to the public to ensure they are wearing high visibility clothing when they are out on the roads as the evening get darker.
Pedestrians, cyclists and those driving motor bikes are encouraged to wear the reflective gear, and ensure that bicycle lights are in working order.
Walkers are also told to carry a torch when on rural roads in the early mornings and evenings.
