Presidential candidate Jim Gavin says genocide is taking place in Gaza and the Israeli government is committing war crimes.
The former Dublin football manager was speaking at the Fianna Fáil think-in in Cork, after he was criticised by Sinn Féin’s Pearse Doherty last week.
Deputy Doherty objected to Mr Gavin’s reference to Israel’s ‘military objectives’ in Gaza.
