A number of non-emergency operations have been cancelled again today at Letterkenny University Hospital.
In a statement this afternoon, management say the hospital is extremely busy today, and due to the pressures on the site, and also on bed capacity, they are postponing some elective procedures.
Urgent, time-sensitive cases are being prioritised, and patients are being contacted directly if their procedure is being postponed.
