A multi-agency investigation has been launched after a young child was injured at a childcare facility in Donegal.
Donegal County Childcare Committee say they are aware of the alleged incident in a pre-school setting and cannot comment any further.
An Garda Siochana say that they are now are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Túsla are also investigating.
We understand the child in question was taken to Dublin for hospital treatment.
