The ESB say approximately 49,000 homes, farms and businesses remain without power in counties Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon, Galway and Mayo.
ESB Networks crews are working flat-out to restore power after Storm Amy, and expect that any customers who do not have their power restored today will have supply back by tomorrow night.
However some customers in Donegal may be without power into the early part of next week.
